- Store a copy of the invoice with the voucher forever
- Code the voucher
- Route the invoice for approval by person, project, budget, and amount
- Bill expenses to a project when allowed
- Electronically sign the check with one or multiple signatures
- Email the vendor the stub
- Deposit the funds in the vendor’s bank account
- Reconcile the checking account with your bank
- Provide positive pay for security
- Provide drilldown from the GL to the copy of the invoice
- Allow auditors and employees to view the invoice with the check and GL entries to answer questions
